    Hi Guys,
    i tried to follow this splendid tutorial and I have failed. Unfortunately I still haven?t figured out what is going wrong. I will post screenshots first before posting whole scene here.

    Hello again,
    I have finally figured it out. For better illustration I have plugged the curvature map as diffuse map. By playing with controllers I found out I had to go to the most tiny scale 0.0015. This is due I guess my model being quite small yet standard units are meters.

    I have than worked up the blend material workflow. I have eventually used two blend materials. First one is responsible for splat effect and second masks out the curvy edges. I wish Vray let us control whether concave or convex edges (or both) should be selected.

      I think you can use a combination with V-Ray Dirt texture map to achieve the result.

        hello Boyan,
        that is an interesting idea. I have also thought of baking modo?s native occlusion texture map which gives you slighly more control.
