  • FogBias and Alpha don't get along

I'm experiencing wrong behaviours of the fog Bias when an object with alpha is inside the refractive object (a fish inside a fish tank).

It works fine if the fish card is behind or outside, but not inside.

It also works fine if the FogBias is set to 0.

I uploaded also the .nk file so you can check it out

Thanks for the report. I've logged the issue (internal bug-tracker id: NUKE-912) for developer analysis.

Good morning, has there been any development in this topic? Where could I check the status of id: NUKE-912?

      Blagodaria!

Not quite yet, I'm afraid, however, I've mentioned the issue to our developers so as to increase its priority. Otherwise, the bug tracker is internal, there isn't a way to check statuses. As a workaround, you may use VRayEnvironmentFog instead of Fog color, where the cube will be its container. Note that the result may not be identical and rendering may be slower. Otherwise, you may simply remove the cutout from the inside of the cube.
