I did a camera track in PF Track and when I connected the scene and camera nodes to the VRayRenderer node it zooms in on the footage. I know it's the scene node that does this because before I connect the scene node it looks normal in the viewer. Is there a way to fix this? I tried to upload my .nk file but it wouldn't let me. Here's a link to the files on my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bqenkvpz9...i45LSi_pa?dl=0

Just use a VRayBackground node with screen mapping, plug your bg texture in the bg input and connect it to the renderer bg input.
The problem is that when nothing is connected to the obj/sc input, we just reoutput whatever is on the bg input.
When something is connected, then a default spherical mapping is applied which obviously is not the one you need in this case.
The VRayBackground node can override this.Last edited by Christophe.Cot; 21-06-2019, 10:38 AM.

Thank you so much Christophe! You may also be able to help me with something else. I really want to find some good courses of V-Ray for Nuke but am really having a hard time looking for some. I've found the quick start tutorial and couple of quick tutorials. I really want something in depth. I've tried asking teachers from my school and they don't really have a good place to send me either. Is there a V-Ray for Nuke course that you guys recommend? Thanks.

Hey,
You can check the series from Shahin Toosi here - https://vimeo.com/159274198
Aslo you can check the V-Ray courseware here (it's for 3ds Max, but V-Ray works in the same way in Nuke) https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/CWVRAYMAX/V-Ray+3.x
