  • 1000 posts - Freebie HDRIs from Ohtas HDRI Collection

Wow, it has been 6 years on this forum and I just hit the 1000s post.
I got so much from other users, devs and others working at Chaos Group - I learned a lot through communication on here.
So I figured, this would be a good opportunity to give something back - and to do some shameless advertisement for the HDRI Collection of my Japanese photographer friend Ohta Koji.
As he is well over retirement age but still has to work, I thought of helping him out by selling studio equipment HDRIs, which he took for me and I processed. Until now we only sold 3 of those and as the price is relatively cheap, it only paid for some food, I guess.
Getting people to know that there is this awesome collection is hard and a lot of work, which I usually do not have time for.

You can download two full samples of the collection and if you like them, please consider buying the whole bunch.
It is only 45€ for 24 HDRIs of very high quality and resolution. I personally am using them to add some color and light variations or make reflections a tad more realistic and imperfect, which especially helps with product shots, if used wisely.

You can check the collection out here:
    https://gumroad.com/l/HDRI-Collection1
And here is your ChaosGroup-Forum-User download:
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=177...H_4rX9NQ5lCRHs

Please let me know what you think, if there is anything that can be improved or have requests for future releases.
And it would be super awesome if you would share the gumroad link to give my friend a boost in sales.

Thanks for all the years and thank you for many more!

    Manuel

PS: as we still do not have a shared forum for all software users, I am posting this in the various subs to reach as many users as I can. Sorry for double posting, but this is the only way.

Nice one mate. Snapped it up! I recommend also posting this to somewhere like Behance.

      Hey, cool. Thanks!
do you have any tips for posting on Behance?
I just occasionally check out some postings (like your awesome profile) but never got into actually using it.

Should be able to use the preview images you have already. Here's some links to content for sale already to get an idea. I'd add "FREE LIGHT HDRI" to the thumbnail / cover image. CG artists love freebies and that'l draw people in with the offer of one or two (perhaps low res) for free. All the same blurb you have already, just formatted to suit Behance, and add a bunch of tag words post to drive traffic. Maybe slap it on Linkedin too. Behance lets you auto connect your post to Linkedin, and maybe Instagram too.
