  • V-Ray 5 for Revit, Update 2 out now!!!

    Hello everyone,

We're excited to share that V-Ray 5 for Revit, Update 2 has just been released featuring a set of powerful new tools which will help you explore and present your work in a streamlined and engaging way.

    This release will let you:
    • Аccess and control linked files’ V-Ray material and object replacements from within the host Revit project.
    • Add rich detail to the Revit model environment by scattering various objects on a selected surface.
    • Live-link your Revit models to Chaos Vantage and explore them in pure raytraced real-time.
    • Take advantage of the new Materials category of Chaos Cosmos featuring over 200 free assets, including terrain, tiles, wooden floors, brick walls, and more.
    • Customize the look of any Cosmos 3D model by accessing its underlying materials to modify or replace them.
    • Easily share designs with clients and colleagues using V-Ray Vision's standalone exe export.
    • Explore Revit's native solar studies in V-Ray Vision and export them as video to share with peers and clients.
    • Render realistic grass on any surface with procedural grass support in V-Ray Vision.
    • Visualize IES light profiles within V-Ray Vision, adding real-world lighting into any interior.
    • Visualize scarcely lit spaces such as interiors without direct sunlight by using the new Ambient Light Mode in V-Ray Vision.
    • Create complex transparent and translucent materials with V-Ray Material's new thin-walled and translucency parameters.
    • Have more artistic control in post with V-Ray Frame Buffer’s new Sharpen & Blur effects.

A full list of all changes and fixes can be found in the Release Notes section of our documentation.
