  • Stopping a Render cause Revit crash

I have V-ray 3.5, with the latest Swarm and License server installed in Revit 2017. Anytime I try and stop a render, whether in swarm or V-Ray RT, it causes the program to not respond and requires a force quit of the program. I'm on a deadline and have spent two days dealing with this. Any thoughts?

    Hi rowe_architects,

The problem is fixed in the next V-Ray for Revit version which is not released yet. Simply stop the rendering from the VFB stop button instead of using the one in the rendering progress window.
Let me know if it works with this workaround.

    Best,

Are you using Denoiser channel? I've found trying to stop a render in the middle of denoising more often than not causes the crash.

Guys, you can already upgrade to V-Ray 3.60.01 for Revit
