Anyone have any idea why I get the above warning or what it means?

Hi,

Just ignore this and do not worry about it. You are getting it when a V-Ray material without texture is used. It has no parameters for scaling and rotation but the plugin interface is not hiding this options in that case and tries to apply them although they are not relevant.
