  • Swarm not Rendering Fully

Out the blue my Swarm starting producing incomplete renderings. Initially I thought it was the renderer itself, but when I turn off Swarm the renderings are complete. What may have caused this? How do I remedy this issue and get back to 100% production? The two images represent the outcome of with and without Swarm render.

      Hi,

Please enable DR Buckets channel in Settings > Channels. It will let us know which Swarm node is responsible for the empty buckets. Our guess is that some node is causing this and let's first try to isolate it.

      Thanks,

        Hi Kraig,

How many nodes do you use?
Can you take a screenshot of your V-Ray for Revit About window? (we want to see the V-Ray versions)
Please, open the Swarm network manager and let us know the V-Ray version listed there next to each node. (this can be screenshot too)

Can you enable the DR Buckets channel from Settings->Channels, then re-render and send a screenshot only of the DR Buckets channel.

        Thank you,

I've got the similar problem on the swarm, I found if I am using HDRI sky when using the swarm rendering, the little
squares rendered by different machines will appear in different lightness just similar like the image shown on the top of this topic....

Any action on this? I'm having the same problem with Vray for Rhino.

Mine seemed to be a couple outdated render nodes, but all is well once I updated the nodes.

The problem, illustrated in this forum thread, is fixed in V-Ray for Revit 3.70.02, which can be downloaded from here: https://download.chaosgroup.com/?product=47&platform=55
You have to ask in the V-Ray for Rhino section if the problem is fixed in their current version as well.

Also, illustrating problems with the same screenshot, doesn't mean that the problem is the same. It is great when you guys provide some steps to reproduce instead of just raising a hand, as it is easier for us to discover the exact problem ; )
