  • Swarm linux client not working with Revit

    Hello,

I've some issues regarding V-ray swarm that only occurs with Revit:
We have licence usage for both sketchup and revit. Windows Swarm clients are working correctly on both softwares. Linux clients are only working for sketchup renderings.

During the Revit Rendering, I've got theses messages:

    Could not find V-Ray version 3.60.04 ab2e294bcba Jan 4 2018 10:52:31 on WK-SWARM1 (172.16.101.25)
    File found: C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\V-Ray for Revit\libraries\vrayappsdk\appsdk-linux-1.24.00-vray3.60.04-20180104-adv.tar.xz
    Uploading appsdk-linux-1.24.00-vray3.60.04-20180104-adv.tar.xz to WK-SWARM1 (172.16.101.25)
    [Error] Uploaded V-Ray version mismatch: 3.60.04 ab2e294 Jan 4 2018 09:57:54 (uploaded) <> 3.60.04 ab2e294bcba Jan 4 2018 10:52:31 (local)
[Error] Failed to add DR node WK-SWARM1 (172.16.101.25)
WK-SWARM1 is my linux based node.

As I understand, my windows based node try to send a linux vray engine that seems not being compatible with windows vray engine.
As I've already stated, this problem does not occur when using sketchup. The linux render node is working fine.

Vray Swarm is up to date on all clients (1.4.3).

Has anyone an idea how to resolve this issue?

Can you let us know your V-Ray for Revit version? (the one listed at the bottom of the About window of V-Ray for Revit)
