Revit LT

This has probably been asked before, but I could not find on the forum;
Will Vray for Revit work with Revit LT?
If not, can an explanation be given for why not? Seems like it should be able to from a technical standpoint.
Hopefully it does, because most Revit users (doing schematic and building modeling) do not need the full Revit version.

Unfortunately no. Revit LT does not support third party plugins. I used Revit LT until I started to use Vray for Revit and had to subscribe to the full version.

Chaos Group should discuss this with Autodesk, to allow the Vray plugin with Revit LT. I think it would greatly increase their sales to Revit users. Most Revit users do not need the full version of Revit, especially the modeling / visualization users who are not yet collaborating with engineers in the project sequence, etc....
Perhaps I'll head over to the Wish List forum and add to the list
