  • Revit usage question

    Hi all,

I hope you won't skip this post and it will turn into a discussion.

I have the following Revit-related question: In Revit, there are those Marks that are part of the Identity Data settings.
They can be used both for model elements as well as for materials. Basically, my question is if you use them in your workflow? If yes, what is the context you use them in?

    Looking forward to your responses,

If i understand the question correctly; I currently use the Marks for doors and window assemblies. For large projects I often strategize the Mark name/numbering in a manner which allows me to filter them for various reasons when outlining them in Legends or Schedules.
I will review this topic a bit further though, and I will follow up after i think about it further.

      Ana,
i am new here so excuse my missteps as I learn the workings of this forum, but I have a question for you. It might help solicit more discussion on this matter. Can you reveal to us what possible use your team may have in mind for the use of those Marks in identity data? Maybe if we have some idea of what the possibilities for use within VRay we can give you more help or feedback?

I was looking for a parameter which can be associated with the Multi Matte render element.
It seems, however, that even those I had in mind are already occupied by other plugins.
