Are .vrscene's exported from V-Ray for Revit compatible with V-Ray for Unreal.

V-Ray for Revit is not listed as compatable, but technically it should be as .vrscene's are designed to be universal?

Yes, vrscenes from Revit are compatible. Some materials, however, are not supported yet.
We are in a process of improving this constantly by adding support for the rest of the materials. Therefore, I recommend you to follow the V-Ray for Unreal Announcements section on the forum.

According to documentation (https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...orted+Features) currently only supported materials are:
      • VRayMtl
      • VRay2SidedMtl
      • VRayBumpMtl
      • VRayLightMtl
As V-Ray for Revit only supports VRmat materials, that effectivly means no V-Ray for Revit materials are supported?

Is there a way to convert VRmats within .vrsene's to VRayMtl's?

        Hi, agrieveson

Currently there is no workaround to convert VRmats to VRayMtls in the exported vrscene and those mtls will not be imported in Unreal. However, it is planned in the Next version of V-Ray for Revit this to be resolved and VRmats will be automatically converted to VRayMtl when exporting a vrscene. Currently in the last version of V-Ray for Revit (3.70) Autogen materials are converted to VRayMtls and those should import without a problem in Unreal.

        Best regards,
        Alexander
