  • Autodesk Shared Materials paths

When I render a Revit sample in V-Ray, I get the error shown in the attached picture. Notice that the path to the Autodesk Shared Materials Texture is missing.

    A texture exists at C: \Program Files (x 86) \Common Files \Autodesk Shared \Materials.

Where does V-RayRevit get the path of the Autodesk Shared Materials Texture? And where can I redefine it?

    Hi Yuji,

This issue is fixed in our next major version. Until we release it, the workaround is to add the path under the Paths section found in the Paths & Sharing tab of the V-Ray Settings dialog.
Here is the path you need to add: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\Textures\1\Mats

Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Best,
    Ana

This issue is important, so I received a request from my customer to fix it in the current version.

Due to some major updates we've done, we can't fix it in the current version. Besides, there is a working workaround which I posted above.
Let me know if you can't make it work and I can assist you via a remote call.

          Best,
