  • White Background?

I am VERY new to VRay and am testing out the Beta for Revit. Is there a simple way to change the background in the render to a plain white instead of the default blue/ grey gradient? I am rendering a "basswood" massing model. Thank you

There are a few ways to do this and it depends if you want to keep the lighting from the sun and sky or you want to render with white light and white background.

    1. Save your rendering from the V-Ray frame buffer. You can save it either as a .png file or as a .tiff. You will have a completely white background which post process programs will recognize as transparent.
    2. Open Color corrections in the V-Ray frame buffer. Enable the Background image option and assign a completely white image as a background.

    3. Use white HDR image for the dome light. Thus you will have not only white background but white lighting too.
