  • Spherical Pano Output

Hello, I've been looking at methods of rendering stereo pano's for viewing with a cardboard viewer, and am struggling to find anything that will view the 12x1 image that V-Ray for Revit produces.

Looking at other V-Ray versions I can see that things like V-Ray for Sketchup can output a spherical rendering directly - is this possible with the Revit version?

If not, can anyone point me to an iOS viewer than can handle the 12x1 and doesn't require me to host the image on their cloud service?

    thanks

In android I use TurnMe Panorama. It is free, no adds, and works from your phone.

        Hi Colin,
You can try the IrisVR app. It can output cubic panoramas

Thanks for the suggestion, but it looks like you need to host images on their service to use IrisVR.

are there plans to include the spherical functionality of other V-Ray versions into the Revit version?

We use www.yulio.com to host the 12:1 cube maps.

Is there any other options out there other than Iris and Yulio? I am looking for options to be able to share with clients the VR image so they can have the ability to view in a browser.

Before V-Ray, I rendered with autdoesk 360 in the cloud. It was nice just to be able to send the link to someone so they could view it.

                Thanks
