  • Offset for assigned assets

When assigning cosmos assets for revit familie furniture they seldom equal the revit family size and therefore ends up abit inside walls etc. I I'm currently doing a workaround with placing the cosmos objects instead and hide them in plan views, and vice versa hiding the revit family in the 3d view. It would save alot of time if there was an option to adjust the position in custom units for the x&y direction in the "selection type" dialogue section.

hmm. Maybe not possible as this would have to be on a per object basis...?

How about picking a point on the Revit family which serves as the origin for the replacement?

Yes That would work too. Now that I think of it. -Its easy to duplicate to a new family for objects the offset/pick point does not work. I overcomplicated it in my head Have a nice weekend, Ana!

Such a feature has been in my mind for a while now. I'll reach out to you when I have more to discuss, ok?
You also have a nice weekend, Terje!
