  • lighting analysis - display mode color issue

Lighting analysis suggests that when lux falls below the minimum value, that it displays as black. I'm not finding that to be the case in the attached samples.

Is the Minimum Value not functioning properly? Is there some averaging going on?

    Thanks, Jeff

    Thank you for reporting this!
The values below the minimum actually gradually blend between blue and black (and values beyond maximum - between red and white). An internal discussion has been initiated about the improvement of the false color display.
Will post an update once a decision is reached.

    Kind regards,
    Peter

While blending probably makes for an attractive color map, I prefer a cutoff to black or white. No blending. I am using the feature to evaluate compliance with lighting requirements where the result is like a 1 or a 0. It complies or does not comply with the lower and upper limits. As an aside, it would be helpful if the numerical grid could be exported to compute max/min/mean/average. Or, it would be nice if that was included in the output.
