  • No access to the Bongo process window ...

... during an rendering is running. So, the pause/stop button can't be used and the process window can't be minimized. And moving the frame buffer window cause a complete freeze of Rhino. Only don't touch the windows helps to get the animation rendered. Example file is sent to support.

For working around: I found it helps to start a single shot and place the frame buffer at the screen where wanted. And short after the Bongo animation is started the Bongo process window allow to minimize it without to freeze Rhino.

Could you please state your Rhino and Bongo versions? I assume you use V-Ray 4.00.02 and your OS is Win10?
Currently, the only issue with the Bongo process window is an indefinite hang when attempting to minimize it (already logged).
Otherwise, changing the positions of the Bongo progress window, using it's Pause & Stop buttons or moving the VFB are all triggered after the completion of the current frame's rendering process.

      Kind regards,
      Peter

Yes, I use V-Ray 4.00.02 and Win10, also Rhino and Bong updated the last days. I hope the problem will be solved if the minimize problem is solved, since it's an indefinite hang too if I move the progress window.

We were not able to reproduce the behavior you described on our local setups.
I have notified our Support team to take a look at this while they assist you with your GPU issue.

          Kind regards,
