Have noticed this behavior for a while. I try to remember to always stop the interactive renderings before saving but you know. One forgets. Lots of wasted hours on this one.

Hi,
Kindly note that we are unable to reproduce this in our stable nightly builds.
Could you please download the latest stable build and confirm if this resolves the issue on your end?

Well, you are correct, 3.60.03 does not crash if you close while running an interactive render. However.
The 3.60.02 files are now a complete mess. All the lights reset to a default 30 intensity and got made into unique instances. Dome lights have changes into directional lights for some reason. All the materials are gone. The environment reset to default.
Will have to wait until new projects to upgrade as redoing all this on current ones will be a huge timesink.
Will the updates keep destroying the legacy files? Been avoiding updating because it usually breaks something but it hadn't been quite this bad yet.

Thanks for the feedback and apologies for not understanding that this was regarding V-Ray 3.x for Rhino!
Either way, this is rather strange behavior! Would it be alright if you share the original file with us (3.60.02) so we can investigate in detail? If so, please send us an archived copy (V-Ray > Pack Project) to support@chaosgroup.com via email or a file-sharing service of your choice
