Material Conflict

I toggle off Prompt on Material Conflict. Run a script that opens files and does some stuff. Nothing to do with Vray. But I get the dialog regardless if I toggled it off because it toggles itself back on when the script opens a new file. Really annoying. I'm really trying to avoid removing Vray every time I need to run this script. Please help. Is there a command line prompt that I can script to turn off this dialog. Or is there a way to have this (so called) feature only toggle on when rhino is launched (not when opening each new file).

Maybe it help to ask the McNeel team for this problem, since the material conflict is handled by McNeel code.
