Linked block materials are automatic renamed

Hi,

dear Chaos-Team, please check the naming of linked blocks. Since I updated to Update 2 and it force me to install SR23 I get renamed materials of linked blocks:

I'm not the only one with this issue:

I would be glad if the reason for the issue could be quick found and fixed. I ask me, which team can do it - Chaosgroup or McNeel?

Hi, Micha,

You are correct that V-Ray for Rhino 6 now requires Rhino version 6.23. Тhe reason for that are Rhino API updates which are utilized by V-Ray, however the V-Ray-side material conflict handling is dropped in favor for Rhino functionality with the release of update 1. Rhino material conflict resolver can be used instead. As I understand from the linked forum posts you want new functionality and you have already contacted the right team. V-Ray only follows the original Rhino behavior.
