  • Rhino unstable after upgrading to Next Upgrade 2

Two days ago i upgraded from Vray 3.6.03 to Vray Next Upgrade… what a mess!

Rhino has become unstable, it freezes even with 2Mb files.
It’s impossible to work this way…
I also tried a Vray & License Server clean install.

Rhino 6, drivers, etc are all up to date.

If i uninstall Vray Rhino works great. If I install Vray 3.6.03 it works great.

    Anyone else is having problems?

    Thanks

Could it be a GPU driver issue?

(VfR Next works very stable here and I hope a solution will be found.)

            Hello, nachetz ,

Thank you for reaching out and providing such detailed info!
Could you please answer a few questions that can help us locate the cause of your issue:
            • Confirm whether the problem occurs when V-Ray is the only active 3rd-party plugin in Rhino?
            • Do the freezes occur on regular intervals (e.g. when the project is autosaved) or only when attempting to render or at some point during an ongoing render process?
            • Is the issue reproducible when working with new projects as well as existing ones (created using V-Ray v3.6)?
We can assist you via remote connection if you find this option convenient.

            Kind regards,
            Peter

              Thanks Peter.Chaushev !
              • Confirm whether the problem occurs when V-Ray is the only active 3rd-party plugin in Rhino?
YES, only when i install Vray Next Update 2, while being working with 3.6.03 never had this issues. Yesterday I did a clean installation of Rhinoceros SR25, installed Vray Next and problems again
              • Do the freezes occur on regular intervals (e.g. when the project is autosaved) or only when attempting to render or at some point during an ongoing render process?
NO, it freezes or crashes usually after rendering quite often when trying to save.
              • Is the issue reproducible when working with new projects as well as existing ones (created using V-Ray v3.6)?
YES, i began with v3.6 scenes but when problems started i switched to a very clean new scene, just some primitives and had the same problems

Actually i have a clean installation of Rhino, no plugins no V-Ray
