During interactive rendering (either through viewport or through VFB, V-Ray for Rhino locks up Rhino and becomes unresponsive. This is a critical bug, that has been around for quite some time. Is there any hope this one will get fixed in the next update? As stated in the title, autosave kicks in, but fails to save the file.

Hello, Gijs,
After a thorough re-investigation of the described behavior no reliable way was found to indefinitely freeze Rhino.
Saving the V-Ray plugin data may increase the save process duration up to 250-300%. Having V-Ray interactive running simultaneously can add up to additional 50%.
There are some underlying changes the dev team is preparing that may improve these times. The freeze you've described and the failure to produce an autosave file, however, cannot be addressed until they can be reliably reproduced.
In this regard, any additional info, such as step-by-step descriptions of the actions leading to the freeze or project files that continuously exhibit the behavior will be appreciated!
Kind regards,
Peter
