V-Ray 42003 & Rhino 6.29 NeUI error running without Admin

I have this error when running as a standard user, with an admin account there are no problems, switching to standard doesn't allow me to run V-Ray

I've tried adding the Nvidia option to ensure it runs on the Nvidia 1050 rather than Intel HD.

I've submitted a ticket to support but still have this issue.

Hi Ant,

Would it be possible to re-install V-Ray but this time run the installer as Admin and see if the issue persists? Thanks!

Thanks for the response, this was installed as admin, and run successfully along with exporting the scene to standalone for Deadline, it was only noticed to not work when run as a standard user

Disregard the suggestion in the post above, please - actually the installer should not be run with administrative privileges. Might have been done so the first time, which is causing this - give it another try on installing without admin privileges and let us know the outcome.

I don't think I can install it without Admin rights as I can't run executable files as a non-admin, is there a way to extract and install?

Can I change the permissions on any of these files?

Just to update here, there was another security program stopping this from working, once on the accepted list the application worked fine
