  • Material renders black when applying "Fog Color"

I just found an issue on a generic material in which I only set Refraction Color to White and Fog color to a random color. It just renders plain black. The Rhino model is new and I just placed 2 cubes in it and I'm working with Vray Next 2.2.

It sort of works only when I use HSV values to pick the color and "V" is set to 1, but even then I can only choose from 5 different colors.

Has anybody experienced this or is there any solution? Fog color problem.zip

    Hi javi_vidal

You will need to adjust the Fog Multiplier to get the desired result. Keep in mind: smaller values cause less light absorption because of the fog; while higher values increase the absorption effect. You can check the Fog Multiplier examples from our documentation page here.
I've also prepared a sample with your project with a different value than the original, seems to be working fine.
