The background Sky map cannot be deleted in V-Ray 5.

The attachment is a Chaos Group lesson scene, but the background Sky map cannot be deleted.

Confirmed with V-Ray 5 Rhino 7

Thank you for the feedback! We are aware of this issue (WEBUI-5643) and the dev team is working on implementing a solution for it.

As soon as there is any updates regarding the issue, I will post back here.

Sorry. The cause seems to be Volumetric Enviroment (Aereal Perspective).

The problem has been resolved.

Hi flat,

The thing with Aerial Perspective is that it needs a Sky to function.
And even when the Sky is not connected to the environment it is used by the volumetric effect.
I'd basically recommend that you use Aerial Perspective only when you have Sky in the environment or in a Dome Light.
In all other cases the Environment Fog is a better option.
