matieral preview is not working in v-ray asset editor

Can you share the exact version of V-Ray/Rhino you are using - you can check from V-Ray > Help > About V-Ray.

Make sure that your GPU drivers are updated to the latest recommended ones and please refer to the following forum post for a detailed solution on the subject.
If it is not helping, you may try disabling any additional 3rd party plugins and see if it works.
