  • _vrayRenderWindow for toolbar button please ...

    Hi,

the _vrayRenderWindow is great, thank you for adding it. Could this command not be used for the RMB click on the render button per default? I suppose so this is the more needed use. (OK, I can manually change it here but every new release will destroy my button change. In the past at VfR2 this function was standard, so it could be the default RMB function here. )

I ask me could it be avoided that the frame buffer is cleared before a region of the viewport is rendered? It would be the more safe way to leave the frame buffer content untouched. If needed the user could clear the frame buffer by the frame buffer "clear image"button.

    Hi Micha,

Right-clicking on the Render button activates the RenderInWindow command. The vrayRenderWindow has additional properties and could be activated by either entering it in the command line space or you can make a custom button from the Rhino options.

      Hi nikoleta.garkova

what I want to say is - I think that RenderInWindow isn't really useful. For what it should be used? But very often the user need a part of screen rendered at the right place for adding the result to an exist rendering. Like render region, but faster. It was a standard function of VfR for some years and missed since VfR3. OK, I can create my custom button, but I hoped this useful function could be standard for every VfR user and the not so useful RenderInWindow could be removed.

Also please don't oversee my request that the frame buffer content isn't reset by _vrayRenderWindow _enter
