  • Stochastic tiling doesn't work for 2D displacement?

Here I used the same setup for bump and 2D Displacement. I hope it's a bug and the 2D Displacement can be randomized too. Unfortunately my client want to get an ocean scene for one of the next projects.

    Here my test scene.

PS: Any other solution for a nice looking ocean would be very appreciated.

No it doesn't work at the moment and I haven't quite figured out if/how it can be made to work. The stochastic tiling should be working fine with the 3d displacement method though (at least I remember fixing it a couple of months ago) and should be ok for an ocean surface.

    Best regards,
