  • Black rendered material using GPU

    Hello Everyone,

I´m getting a black Render of the Proxies that I scattered with GH when using RTX or CUDA. When I´m using CPU mode it works fine.
The assets that are rendering correct are not scattered with GH. I referenced the Material to the Proxies with the solution provided to me in my previous post by creating my own multimaterial.
Any Ideas what I could change?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reporting this!
I have created a ticket in our internal system(ID number VGPU-5341) so our developers can further investigate. Unfortunately I didn't find any workaround except using the CPU engine.

      Hi alexander_albiez,

All the setups that I described in the other post actually work for me (both on CUDA and RTX):
      https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...-be-referenced

Here's the result with an instancer:

Name:	renderInProject - instancer.jpg
Views:	414
Size:	1.61 MB
ID:	1106654

And the other approach - instancing the Proxy Mesh itself:

Name:	renderInProject - instancedProxy.jpg
Views:	392
Size:	869.9 KB
ID:	1106655

Can you share a simple example of your setup so that I can see what's wrong in it?

      Konstantin
