I primarily use V-ray for Rhino for architectural work, and I wanted to try out vantage as this could provide a lot of clarity of spaces to be able to walk around/ record animations.
I was having some issues with my GPU rendering in V-Ray so I rolled my drivers back to the recommended driver version of 461.09.
I went to open Vantage today and got an error message:
Your video driver version 461.09 in not supported!
The recommended version is 466.11 for GeForce and 462.31 for Quadro
I was curios to know how chaos recommends drivers?
Is it to say that new drivers are not as stable as the recommended?
I am also curious to know what the community does in terms of updating drivers beyond what is recommended.
This is my first post on the forums... be gentle with me....
If this does not belong here, I can move it/ take it down!
