VRay For Rhino Wont Load.

I have been using Vray for Rhino daily for months. I went to open Rhino today and got an error stating:

Unable to load VrayForRhino.rhp plug-in:Initialization failed.

I uninstalled and reinstalled with the new version Vray 5 for rhino version 1.3 and the error still happens upon launching.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Hey matthew_matuska,

Sorry to hear you're having such issues. Can you please try a few things:

1. Check Rhino plugins - if V-Ray is in the list and if it is set to load by default, if not load the .rhp manually (via the “Install” button)
2. Check if the license server is actually running (type localhost:30304 in your web browser)
3. Check if V-Ray is set as current renderer

Have you seen any error messages upon installing V-Ray/Rhino? Have you made any changes since the error occurred (i.e. software updates)?

For some reason the .RHP was not installed, I was able to load it from its installation folder.
