LightMix - "To Scene" button in th Frame Button is grayed out

Hello,

The lightmix Feature in V-ray 5 is amazing but for some reason the "To Scene" button that is meant to send any adjustments to the lights back to the scene is greyed out.

I raised this issue in one of the V-ray for Rhino webinars two weeks ago and I was recommended to run the latest version of V-ray and try again.

However even in the latest version (Vray 5 - update 1.5) the issue persists. How can I make that function work?

Hello, Deyan,
Sending LightMix adjustments back to the scene is only available when the grouping mode for the render element is set to "Group Instances".
We plan on improving the UI a bit to make this specific requirement more obvious.

Thank you very much for the prompt response!

I can confirm that using " Group Instances " in the Lightmix Setting (In the asset Editor when being used as a render element) Works.

( will follow up with a suggestion but will post it in the channel dedicated to those)
