Used Pack Project. Now all materials missing from original file and exported project.

Rhino 7 and Vray 5.20.02

I've never had this happen before, but I also rarely use pack project. I packed a project last week to export. Now when I go back to the file all my lights are there, same render settings etc. but no materials, not a single one. Materials can be seen in the rhino materials panel with the same naming from Vray. But Vray will not recognize them.

Hi Clarnold ,

This sounds like a pretty major issue.
Can you reliably reproduce this or was it a one time thing?
If you can, then maybe it has something to do with the project.

It would also help if you can describe the issue with the resulting file in more details.
What is the type of the materials listed in the Rhino's list (V-Ray, Placeholder or Custom)?
Do you see any materials in the Asset Editor?
Try changing the color of any V-Ray material (in the Asset Editor) and see if gets duplicated.

It would also be great if you can share the project before it has been packed and the one after.

We'll try to recreate the problem on our side also.
