  • Unable to render OptiX Module

    Hi,

After extending my V-ray license and updating to the latest version, I'm no longer able to GPU render. When I attempt to GPU render, I am given this error message:
1/31/2022 9:14:52 AM Error [V-Ray] [VUtils::VOptix::OptixModuleCreateThread::createMod ules] 9059: OptiX Module compilation with task failed. Module compilation state 9059

It doesn't matter what I try to render, in this instance I have just attempted to render a simple box, and the render has failed.

I am running a build with a AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32-Core Processor, 64GB ram and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080. I have run VRay for Rhino on this build over the last year and had no issues GPU rendering until recently.

I'm not quite sure what the fix is for this, but any help would be great.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Please try to update the GPU driver to the latest version available from NVidia's website https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
Let me know if there is a change after the driver update.
