  • Background not exporting with render

Hello, I am a new vray user and have quite enjoyed the program. Recently when I tried to export my renders I noticed that when I save the image the background (V-ray sky) is transparent, and worse yet, all reflections of it are transparent as well making the image almost unusable in some instances. for example,
in this scene the v-ray frame buffer produces this image:

but when I save the image this is what I get as a result:

this ruins the effect of the image and I can not understand what setting is causing this. I also should note that many answers to this question I found suggest I should use a dome light or hdri for the background as a workaround, but this is unsatisfactory to me due to the fact that an hdri would not allow me to have control over sky elements like clouds or time of the day like the vray sky.
    TLDR:
how can I keep the V-ray sky in the image after saving it?

It's requested since many years and not possible to implement. Only workarounds help, like using the free image browser XnView and remove the alpha.

An other way is to add a dome light with the same texture (per copy as instance). There you can disable all effects except "affect alpha".

I still hope that the alpha can be simple disabled at the frame buffer one day.
