  • Material problem

I have run into an issu that i cant find a sullotion to:

I'm trying to render a image of a product (very simple scen with only 2 lights in a studio setup). when I render in the prespecive view it works fine but whenever i switch to "front, back, left of right" i get a really strange mech-like pattern in the materials. Any ideas on whats going on here? The 3D-oblects are nurbs and not meshes.

    thanks for advise!

    Hello mattias_sjberg,
    Thank you for your post.

Please check if by any chance your model is too far away from the origin point.
Try to select everything and bring it to the origin point (0,0,0) of the scene and try to render again.

If this is not the case, please share your scene for further troubleshooting:
    • Open ticket to our support team and upload your scene.
    • Make sure to archive your scene with the Pack Project tool (V-Ray>Pack Project).
    • Share your current V-Ray version (V-Ray>Help>About).
    • What render engine you are using: CPU, CUDA or RTX. If you are rendering with GPU please test with CPU.
    • Test if issue is reproducible with Material Override enabled.
    Thank you in advance.
