  • Rhino Edge Softening doesn't show up anymore in the render

Hi, I use rhino's edge softening tool, (not fillet edge command, the one in the UI to set all edges of an objects). This used to work just fine for a long time but I realized that it is not working anymore for 2 weeks maybe. I tried to understand what can be the cause or if there is a solution on the internet but couldn't find something. Are there any suggestions?

    I use Rhino 7 / 8 WIP&BETA version and up to date v-ray version on windows 10.

    Hello yusufcankat_donmez,

We are aware of the issue with Edge Softening in Rhino 8, please refer to this forum post. I have also linked your post to the internal issue VRW-4000 and will notify you once it is fixed.

Quick workaround: _ExtractRenderMesh and temporary use this instead the NURBS for rendering.

              Hello mackl,
The issue with Rhino Edge Softening was resolved in 6.20.00 V-Ray build. If you are using earlier version please update to the latest one (you can download it here).
