Open -> Searching for Embedded Files -> Crash

Hey all, when i try to open my Rhino 8 model which I’ve been working on with V-ray 6 the file crashes before even opening. It tells me it is searching for embedded files and crashes at 47% each time.
I’m a master of architecture student and have my midterm critique in 3 days and I really wish this wasn’t happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I open the file in Safe Mode it works, but I need Vray to work with it...
