    Hi Richard,

Iā€™m providing an update here regarding what was discussed in the ticket.

The error message [V-Ray] Cannot write output image file "File Path": "format is not supported:5: format is not supported" occurs when an output image directory is not specified. Without this directory, V-Ray does not have a designated save location, resulting in the absence of output files.

If no Image Output path is defined in Grasshopper before exporting the .vrscene files, the .vrscenes will lack an image directory. In such cases, you can use the Rhino Override Path to specify a save location. However, please note that in certain versions of V-Ray 6, this override feature may not work as expected, and the selected path will be disregarded.

This issue has been documented in our internal system under VRW-4607, and our development team is actively working on a resolution.

In the meantime, to solve the issue, make sure to set the Image Output in Grasshopper before exporting the .vrscenes.
