  • Is there an eyedropper tool for picking a color???

Hi! I'm being made to switch from 3ds Max to Rhino, and I'm going insane trying to figure out how to pick a color in the color section of a material? Can you even do that in a Vray material??? I keep seeing posts about there NOT being an eyedropper tool, so is there not or am I just doing this wrong? I also can't figure out how cropping working in the crop/place tab of a bitmap. I know how Vray works in 3ds Max, basic things there aren't making sense for me in Rhino. Please help, thanks!

I just want to grab the pink from this object and use it in my material, and I can only eye-ball matching the color myself? How is there no eyedropper???

        Crop / place works in % from 0 to 1: so 0.50 = 50%

Thank you! Can I pick where it "zooms in" though?

From my experience, the usage is very wonky. Place simply shrinks either in U or V from the top left, and Crop I believe works the same way by stripping away a given % from 1. The documentation says nothing on how to use it, and I couldn't find anything.on youtube related to this vray feature.
Maybe you contact Chaos support and ask for a detailed demonstration? They are not very active in here lately.
