After updating Vray with Hotfix 3 for Rhino 8 objects with simple transparent vary materials started to be displayed solid in rendered viewport. When I render the scene, the transparent materials are rendered correctly. When I turn on vray interactive render it works fine, too. I'm talking about very basic transparent materials: generic materials (with no maps) with simple opacity (no transparency maps or anything). I've checked Rhino display settings for rendered viewport, but nothing seems to be the cause of the problem. Any ideas?

Thank you for your post.
Please note that what you report is expected specifically with the V-Ray Opacity slider.
Rhino converts V-Ray Opacity to the Transparency Texture in Rhino material, which requires a texture - therefore what you can do in V-Ray is add a Color texture to the Opacity slot.
