  • Dome Light Visibility

    Hello,

I've loaded an HDR from the Cosmos library into a Dome light and the texture does not appear to be wrapping in a "Dome" around my geometry. It is then not visible in the render. I have selected Use Transform in settings
for the Dome Light so the texture does rotate but not as a "Dome" aroung the scene. Since i wanted the Dome light to be the only light source, Environment Background is unchecked and nothing is applied in texture slot.
Any thoughts on how to get the HDR to display properly?

    This is quite strange indeed.
Is it possible for you to share a simple project file where the issue is present (you can replace your model with a simple box... I don't think that changing the geometry will make any difference).

Hi konstantin_chaos, It looks like the active Clipping Planes were the culprit. I didn't realize they afftect Vray objects in addition to Rhino Geo I turned them off in the perspective viewport and the
Dome light and HDR are visible now
