  • Colored matte shadow with CPU Rendering / not with CUDA or RTX

    Hello,
I have a problem with a matte shadow material on the ground rendering with CPU.
Usually it’s a perfect matte shadow with uncolored transparent pixels. But sometimes, when I work with big scenes, the background becomes colored (violet, blue or green depending on the material method I use for the matte shadow).
When I use a standard shadow catcher from Chaos Cosmos: same result.
If I deactivate the Matte parameter in Vray, the problem disappears but I don’t have anymore shadows on the ground.
The problem appears only with CPU rendering, not with CUDA nor RTX. Once a scene appears that way with CPU, I can’t reverse it back to normal behavior.
The light is a simple dome light with standard parameters.

Graphic drivers versions don't change the issue.
I rebooted my PC, same result.

    My softwares versions:
    Vray for Rhino 7 6.20.06
    Rhino 7 SR38
    Windows 11 Pro 10.0.26100

    My configuration:
    NVIDIA RTX A4500
    Intel Xeon W-2133CPU@3.60GHz

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Julien.
