  • Spot light decay chooser dosn't work

If I change the chooser from "inverse square" to "linear" and deselect the light and select it again, "inverse square" is enable again. Also I miss "none" decay.

An other problem is. I select a light and make some settings. Than I render a test and see I need more light. Now i want to change the parameter. The light is selected from the previous edit, but the options are greyed out all. Only deselect and select again helps.

if you used 0 as the decay previous that is actually the same thing as choosing Linear. I'll look into the values

Ok I think you might just be making a small mistake with the actual control there. I have tested these two lights and they are working properly. When you have made your selection final the name of the Decay Type should be highlighted. If it is not highlighted then you have not actually changed your selection. So it is possible that you are just moving up or down without actually changing your selection.

The control I use is a listbox not a combobox, so it works a bit differently

Ah, I see know and it works. It is a new kind of interface action. I never have seen befor. Interesting. Maybe it confuse the Rhino user, because it is not Rhino typical. We will see.

PS: I would prefer the simple classical chooser.

Yes I prefer comboboxes too, I was having some problems setting it up for some reason or another. I will probably switch it back to that more common-sense approach as soon as time permits.
