  • Rendering ortho views

Hi all- it looks like rendering Rhino's ortho views does not render what the viewport sees but rather a wider view- objects are smaller with a lot of space around them...is there a setting?

    thanks,

I believe this was posted somewhere already, and it is being looked at. It's not a setting, it's a bug

yes for some reason I get the perspective transform from Rhino when its orthographic. I am a bit confused about it, and have not had time to fully research this problem yet. I am not really sure what Rhino uses for the transform when in an orthographic or parallel projection, but I suppose its not the one that I am getting since they are not the same at all

It turned out I need to switch what I was using for the FOV in the ortho scenes, dunno why I didn't think of that before...
