Z depth map antialiasing problem (beta 9 or vray 1.49.15)
Z depth map antialiasing problem (beta 9 or vray 1.49.15)
If I render an interior scene without geometry outside, than I get a bad antialiasing at the edge between background and foreground like in the image (lamp, man or right window).
Z depth map antialiasing problem (beta 9 or vray 1.49.15)
It's because the background is infinitely far away; so when doing antialiasing, V-Ray has to blend between foreground objects (some finite z-depth), and background (infinity), which always gives infinity. This can be corrected if the z-buffer is clamped at the black and white point though, so we will see.
