  • I show the mesh, when I render my glass materials.

I am trying to reproduce with Vray, a glass object that we have in production at the moment. The object, has a texture in its inferior part. In order to be able to only mapping the texture in the inferior face, I had to separate the object in superior face, inferior face and border(to give color him). The material used in both faces is similar, excepting bump in the inferior one.
The showy thing is the texture that takes place in the central zone, that is the mesh of triangles of the superior surface.
Thank you for your time. And sorry for my poor English.

Did you happen to use a bump texture with a negative value?

It has been briefly discussed that giving a bump a negative value allows the object mesh to become visible.

I render again the object, whit positive and negative values in Bump Map.
Thank you for your help. The next step is an adecuate light setup (fast and realistic of being possible).

I have seen the same here: negative values works, but positive values show the mesh.
