I have been working with various scenes (new and from beta 10.5) on a fresh install of Rhino and a clean install of Beta 11 Vray. I keep getting the same problem:
I Open a scene, play with materials, edit colors, add layers, import, etc. Then hit render ... and no problem.
Then I do anything (edit materials, add an object, move stuff around), and try to re-render, and CRASH.
It happens even with new files (tested just one object and got samne results).
Only work around:
1. save the file just before rendering.
2. Render
3. change what needs to be changed
4. Save
5. Hit render, crashes Rhino
6. Relaunch Rhino
7. get RCM error described by everyone
8. Load saved scene
9. Render
repeat steps 3-9
this is getting a bit old to save and relaunch everytime I change a setting. I have found that doing a RenderWindow will not crash the machine. But if I try to simply render, even after 50 uses of RenderWindow, it still craches.
