  • Inverse Square

    Hi,

When I create a spot or point light and render, my interior scene with the light shining through the window renders black.

I crank up the multiplier from 30 to 5000. Still no hint of light in the scene. I switch from Inverse Square to Linear and nothing.

When I select my light in model space, the light properties jumps back to Inverse Square.

    1) It appears as the decay settings are not sticking.
    2) Why do I not get any light in the scene even using linear decay?
    3) Linear and Rectangular light seem to work just fine.

Somewhere I thought Thomas mentioned an issue simular to this? Nothing was in the bug list for build 11 so I thought I would mention it.

    Cheers,
    Bill

You must, if you have choosen linear, again click at the linear button. It's a current interface with special not typical rhino usage. My last info, it will be changed.

How do you even go about discovering this stuff Micha? You're amazing, I think you are going to have to move to Baltimore to be part of the ASGvis team.
